Many people assume that we’re called Frostproof Growers Supply because we began our business selling frost blankets, covers, and other ways of protecting plants from frost. The fact is, we’re Frostproof Growers Supply because we’re based in the town of Frostproof, FL. The town was named Frostproof in 1886 in order to convince citrus growers to grow in a place where the frost would never destroy their crops. Just eight years later, frost destroyed their crops!

So while we didn’t start our growers supply to specifically address the subject of “how to protect plants from frost,” we do have great garden products that offer frost protection. Let’s take a look.
