Designed for budding and grafting, Buddy Tape has unique properties that allow for rapid application, reduced labor costs, and increased success rates. When stretched, Buddy Tape sticks to itself, and does not need to be tied off with a knot. It stretches up to eight times its’ original length, allowing for smaller amounts of material to be used on the same job. And because of its' elasticity, it expands as the plant grows, avoiding cutting or damage. It biodegrades naturally when exposed to sunlight, eliminating the step of removing old tape and disposing of the waste. Buddy Tape is also waterproof, with a wax content that prevents dehydration while continuing to let air pass through to the bud or graft. And because of its permeable nature, Buddy Tape is pierced by the bud as it grows, providing complete bud cover that protects against insects and infection. Includes 857 1-Inch X 2 3/4”perforated filmstrips that produce more than 1,715 tyings. Made in Japan.
