Designed to lower temperatures and reduce sun exposure, Dewitt 50% White Knitted Shade Cloth is made from 100% UV stabilized polyethylene with unique lock stitch construction that stretches and won't unravel if cut. Primarily used for backyard shading, greenhouses, and windbreaks (40% wind reduction). Depending on the climate, used for shading nursery stock, cabbage, peppers, lettuce, some orchid varieties, potted plants, geraniums, caladiums, and irises. Absorbs and reflects light better than black knitted shade. In hot weather conditions, the interior of structures with white shade cloth will be cooler than those with black. Panels can be customized to any shape or size with sealed edges and brass grommets. Lasts for apx. 7 years in direct sun.
