Designed for use with the WaterMark Digital Soil Moisture Meter, the WaterMark 15-Foot Soil Moisture Sensor provides accurate soil moisture readings from 0 to 200 centibars, ± 3%. Sensors are buried at crop root depth and read with the WaterMark Digital Soil Moisture Meter (sold separately here). They're unaffected by freezing temperatures and do not need to be removed during winter months. They require no supplements or vacuum gauges and are virtually maintenance free. An internally installed gypsum block provides buffering for the salinity levels normally found in agricultural crops and landscapes. Sensor measures 7/8"D x 2"L with an attached 15ft lead / cable. Made in the USA.
