The tapered design is thinner on top and thicker at the bottom, preventing clogging by stopping the side of the blade from making contact with the wood. The handle is made from strong, lightweight ABS plastic with a non-slip pistol grip that's easy to hold. Push button blade locks in the open and closed positions.
