Designed to measure the maturity and ripeness, our Fruit Penetrometers for Softer Fruits are used by growers worldwide to determine the best times for picking softer fruits, such as peaches and citrus. Simply press the plunger against the fruit to measure the rupture point. Then reference the included manual to compare readings and determine the best time for harvesting. Can be used handheld or mounted to a drill press for additional accuracy. Includes one 5/16" tip, protective splash plate, fruit peeler, and foam lined carrying case. Made in Italy.
