Made from specially lacquered straw, the Straw Safari Pith Helmet features a lightweight design with great ventilation and a full sized 2 ½-Inch brim for keeping the sun off your face and neck. Optional chin strap included for windy conditions. Head band adjusts to fit hat sizes 6 ½- 7 ¾. Made in the USA.

I work outside as a Resident Engineer on construction projects and the hat works as advertised. It truly keeps you cooler than any hat I have ever owned and when it's 110 degrees, that is important. I might add that it wears well in the wind.
