Soil Moist Granular-50-Pound Container

Originally designed for the nursery and forestry industries, Soil Moist is a water storing polymer that reduces waterings by up to 1/2 over a 3-5 year time period. When mixed with soil, it absorbs water like a sponge, then slowly releases it back to plants as soil dries. Environmentally friendly and easy to use, Soil Moist is made from a pH neutral potassium base that expands and contracts during the watering cycle, increasing porosity and reducing soil compaction. Soil Moist significantly aids in new plant establishment and is a proven way to reduce transplanting shock. For flower beds and gardens, apply one pound of Soil Moist per 100 square feet of ground area. For turf / sodding, apply at a rate of six pounds per 1000 square feet or 300 pounds per acre.
